the start of the team

As a freshman in high school I knew I wanted to be a pediatric physical therapist. The reality is you can't get a job in peds without experience in peds. So as a sophomore in the Physical Therapy program at Northeastern University I started a Special Olympics gymnastics team. Over the last 18 years coaching the team I've gained so much more than just experience working with kids. Coaching SOMA gymnastics has changed my life, in the people I've met and the experiences I've had. This blog is an opportunity for me to share with you some of my experiences coaching SOMA gymnastics. I hope you will be inspired.
